Jeffrey K. Luney, AIA, LEED AP
is the founder and Principal of Abraxas Architecture, Inc., an architectural practice based in San Francisco specializing in forensic architecture and expert witness services. Mr. Luney has managed numerous building defect and professional design malpractice investigations and served as a testifying expert witness at deposition and trial. Prior to founding Abraxas Architecture, Mr. Luney held several senior management positions during a career spanning over 30 years in architecture, real estate, financial services and facilities management fields, including several Fortune 500 companies and a major, global real estate enterprise.
Mr. Luney is a licensed architect in California and five other states and a LEED Accredited Professional. Mr. Luney was accredited as an IFMA Certified Facility Manager in 1993. Mr. Luney has managed the design, planning, construction, occupancy, maintenance and operation of office buildings, industrial facilities, civic buildings and housing located throughout the United States and in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Mr. Luney received a B.S. in Architecture from the University of Virginia in 1977. He served as Lecturer at Stanford University College of Civil and Environmental Engineering in 2003. A native of the Chicago area, Mr. Luney has resided in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2000.
